The founders of VNN Learning
Vikesh Zaveri
Subject: Maths
Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Mathematics, PGCert Sec Ed(Maths)
Vikesh Zaveri is the cofounder of VNN learning along with his brother Nimesh. Vikesh, a maths graduate, has been a qualified maths teacher since 2013. He has worked with over 800 students with different capabilities at every level of maths up to and including A-Level. He has experimented with and implemented different teaching methods and techniques to find which work best for the students. His experiences teaching in both high schools and colleges has provided him the opportunities to work with various age groups and ability levels effectively. He chose to start VNN Learning in 2021 as he believes the focus on online learning in today’s world has become significant and with his expertise in using technology for learning is hoping to deliver quality online education to as many as he can. In his own words,
“There are so many effective online resources that teachers and students are just not aware of, I want to be able to use some of these to deliver tutoring in a way that will engage the learners and allow them to develop.”
Nimesh Zaveri
Subjects: Economics and Physics
Qualifications: MSc Ecological Economics, BA (Hons) Finance and Economics
Nimesh is the cofounder of VNN Learning and an experienced tutor of maths, economics and physics. After completing high school, he began tutoring maths and physics whilst undertaking his degree in economics and finance. Nimesh has taught from KS3 up to A levels for maths, economics and GCSE physics.
Having worked in finance for a few years, he knows of the challenges and rewards within the field, however, he saw the impact of unsustainable behaviours of businesses and decided he wanted to do his part in protecting the environment and therefore decided to do a masters in ecological economics. Whilst working in sustainability he decided to teach economics to young people to educate the youth about the necessity of a sustainable future and the impacts of it on the economy.

Meet our Tutors
Giselle Sherwen
Subject: GCSE English Language
Qualifications: BEd (Hons) in English, Level 5 Diploma in Literacy Development
Giselle is one of our most experienced teachers, she has over 20 years experience delivering AQA GCSE English Language, functional skills Level 1 and 2, Key stage 4 and ESOL. She is an AQA examiner in GCSE English Language and has been teaching in schools, colleges and small group settings including one to one tutoring. Here are some words from her:
“I see English as the corner stone to all learning, my focus remains to teach, support and enable students to achieve GCSE English so that doors to further learning and progression open easily for them, allowing access to future learning and development.”
Rahim Bhai
Subject: Biology
Qualifications: BSc in Biosciences, DTLLS
Rahim, originally from Belgium, graduated in the UK in biosciences due to his passion for biology. He decided he would share his passion with the next generation and qualified as a biology lecturer in 2016. He has experience in delivering GCSE Biology, BTEC Science courses and key stage 3. He is a dedicated and reliable teacher who is very keen on seeing his students succeed.
Asif Hussain
Subject: Maths
Qualifications: BSc Mathematics and Statistics, MSc Mathematics, PGCE Further Education
Asif is currently working as a maths lecturer in a college in and has been teaching mathematics for the past 14 years across a range of levels from Functional skills to Further-A Level Mathematics and various educational backgrounds. He has served as a head of mathematics at one of London’s most successful tuition franchises for over ten years. Asif has a firm but relaxed rapport with students he has taught over the years always striving to make lessons engaging and motivational, utilising many techniques such as tactile learning, contextualising Mathematical concepts and an overall student-centred approach.

Kunal Relwani
Subject: Coding
Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Mathematics with Business Management, MSc Mathematical Modelling
Kunal completed a BSc in Mathematics with Business Management and subsequently pursued a MSc in Mathematical modelling graduating in 2012.
As a student he worked as a tutor at Kumon for several years and moved on to working in the financial sector after graduating. He currently works in a Financial technology company based in London. He has knowledge and expertise on various programming languages and would like to share his knowledge of basic coding concepts on to the next generation of curious and enthusiastic students.
Ishika Kumar
Subject: Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics
Qualifications: Currently studying Biomedical Sciences BSc at a 1st class grade average.
Ishika has 3 years of experience working in school settings and online to deliver 11+, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics tuition to students of varied abilities in preparation for their exams.
She is keen to work with your child to help them fully understand course content, to help build their confidence and strengthen their understanding. Ishika is brilliant at achieving a rapport with students, so they are able to make the most out of their tuition sessions. She is determined to help your child reach their potential and excel academically.
Bridget Brewster
Subject: English
Qualifications: Degree in English and PGCE
Bridget has a wealth of experience with 16 – 19 year olds; preparing them for GCSE English across a range of exam boards.
She enjoys working with students of all abilities; helping them to be engaged and independent learners, understand the value of education. Empowering them to reach their potential and achieve exam success.
She also has experience with KS3 and EFL/ESOL students.
